A calm and intimate early summer wedding at Borgo dé Brandi in Tuscany, where timeless landscapes, soft light, and quiet elegance created the perfect backdrop for celebration. Set in June under classic Tuscan sun, the day unfolded at a relaxed pace — warm, unhurried, and deeply rooted in place.
This wedding was extra meaningful for us personally, as it happened on Candida’s birthday and we traveled with our then one-year-old and his grandmother to document the day. The couple lived in Germany at the time but originally came from the United States, choosing Tuscany not only for its iconic beauty but as a gathering place for family and friends from America and Asia. With great food, wine, light, and landscape, the setting felt like a living postcard of the region’s charm.
Borgo dé Brandi shaped every moment of the day. Set outdoors amid olive trees, old stone architecture, and rolling hills, the venue blended natural and built beauty in a way that felt effortless and authentic. The ceremony took place between centuries-old olive trees, their silvery leaves shimmering in the early summer light like a quiet, organic cathedral. Dinner followed at one long table beneath the open sky — a setup that encouraged connection, conversation, and the sense of sharing a single beautiful moment.
Styling and design were intentionally understated, allowing the natural environment, elegant architecture, and emotional moments to take center stage. Minimal florals and subtle details blended into the garden and stone surroundings, creating a visual experience that felt calm, timeless, and deeply connected to place.
With photography and film coverage accompanying the wedding, the day was captured with a sense of clarity, warmth, and presence that matches the spirit of Tuscany itself. From the sun-filled ceremony to the relaxed dinner under olive branches, this wedding became a celebration of place, light, and heartfelt connection in one of Italy’s most beautiful landscapes.
